This is a setup created to reveal the differences between the viewed and viewer. There is somewhat of a role reversal here which asks you participate in an installation. An installation where you are forced to adopt the role of either little brother or big brother. It is quite a simple set-up really with two rooms, Two screens & two cameras. A live CCTV camera in one room is reverse projected inside a peephole within the second room, While within that peephole the viewers eyes are filmed & projected onto the wall of the first room. Basically I liked making the Twin Peaks table working within the construct of a circle.I also had previously cut the 'sperm' shapes from a prospectus. I was bored one night & thought I would arrange them in a circle like this... I realized at 4am I had no paper left. BUT I did have a large framed print of an old oil painting so instead of a white background I made this.
